About Dr Sarah Tyler
Dr. Sarah Tyler is a highly experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine with extensive experience in providing expert care within high-pressure environments. Currently working at Doctors Hospital, she has previously served at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, a prominent trauma center, as well as at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, where she provided emergency care for both adult and pediatric patients.
With a strong background in trauma management, patient safety, and medical education, Dr. Tyler is committed to improving emergency care through innovation, leadership, and teaching. Her approach prioritizes excellence in patient outcomes, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Leadership
Dr. Tyler has held several leadership roles throughout her career, including serving as the Emergency Department Clinical Governance Lead from 2022 to 2024. In this capacity, she chaired morbidity and mortality meetings, reviewed critical cases, and coordinated serious incident investigations. She is also a dedicated educational and clinical supervisor, mentoring trainee doctors and advanced care practitioners. Her commitment to teaching is reflected in her postgraduate diploma in Clinical Education and her contributions to simulation-based learning, medical student assessments, and curriculum development
