
About Omar
Dr. Omar Felix was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica. He completed his medical degree at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica in 2002. He then did postgraduate residency training in General Surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt (Columbia) and SUNY Downstate in New York, USA and completed specialization in General Surgery at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Jamaica. In 2011, Dr. Felix completed an international fellowship in colo-rectal surgery at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. He has also completed an SSO accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toronto. Dr. Felix is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) and a Fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncologists (SSO). Dr. Felix specializes in Surgical management of benign and malignant diseases of the Breast. He also has a keen interest in Oncoplastic Breast surgery, Melanoma, and Minimally invasive surgery.
