About Yaron
Dr. med Yaron Rado, Chairman of the Board and Chief Radiologist, has been associated with the hospital since 2006. He completed his medical training at the University of Hamburg and completed his Residency in Radiology at the University of Duesseldorf, Germany and has been a trailblazer in bringing cutting-edge medical equipment to the island. While working at HSA in 2005 he brought the first digital mammography unit to Cayman. Then at DH, he brought 3D mammography to the island. He initiated the first multi-slice CT and MRI service on the island. In doing so, he fostered the first private sector-public sector partnership and brought the first and only 3T MRI system to the Island. As Chairman of Doctors Hospital, he is striving to build a community of cooperation in the private sector of the hospital and healthcare industry of the Cayman Islands.
Won the Röntgen prize of the German Röntgen Society for “Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise – Germany”
