Our Maternity Facilities
We’ve designed every part of your maternity journey with privacy, comfort, and safety in mind.
- Private maternity suites with ensuite bathrooms
- Dedicated delivery rooms
- Postnatal recovery rooms (in medical/surgical area, if needed)
- Up to 2 birthing partners allowed during labour
- Support person allowed overnight and in theatre during a caesarean
- Visiting hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Children may visit for short periods (only your own)

Integra’s fetal medicine service is led by an experienced UK-trained consultant obstetrician with specialist skills recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Through our partnership, patients benefit from a multidisciplinary team that includes:

Dr. Zbigniew Zwierzchowski
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr. Zwierzchowski brings extensive experience in maternal-fetal medicine, gynaecological endocrinology, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Trained in Poland with additional expertise gained through specialised laparoscopic courses in France, Germany, and the U.S., he is particularly skilled in managing high-risk pregnancies, performing prenatal diagnostics such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and supporting women with complex fertility or endocrine concerns.

Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr. Hinzmann is a German board-certified OB-GYN with a subspecialty in reproductive medicine and a passion for fertility health and endocrine care. With a strong academic background and experience as Lead Consultant for Reproductive Medicine at University Hospital Cologne, she is known for her meticulous care and a warm, approachable manner. Her focus on patient-centred reproductive planning makes her a valuable asset to families at every stage of their journey.

Su Warwick
Su brings nearly 30 years of experience as a Registered Midwife, NIPE practitioner, and BFI-accredited Midwife. Her expertise spans high-risk antenatal, labour, delivery, and postnatal care, often in shared care with Obstetricians. Before arriving in Cayman, she led three community midwifery teams in the UK, supporting mothers from early pregnancy through birth, including home births with water-assisted labour. Su champions evidence-based, research-led care, from antenatal classes to postnatal support, and introduced “kangaroo care” for all newborns, ensuring no mother is separated from her baby. At Doctors Hospital, she helps women achieve the birth experience they hope for.

Frequently Asked Questions About Maternity at Doctors Hospital
Doctors Hospital is the only facility offering private maternity suites, consultant-led care for both routine and high-risk pregnancies, and seamless handover to paediatrics and NICU care if needed. Our approach is respectful, personalised, and built around your choices.
Yes. We support all birth preferences, including natural birth, epidural-assisted, and planned or emergency Caesarean sections. Your care team will work with you to develop a birth plan that aligns with your values and needs.
You may have up to two birthing partners with you during labour. In the case of a C-section, one support person may accompany you into the operating room and stay overnight post-delivery.
Our care doesn’t end after birth. You’ll receive one-on-one breastfeeding support, access to postpartum resources, and optional referrals to experts like Katy Teasdale (IBCLC) at Integra Healthcare. We’re here for you through every stage of recovery and transition.
In the rare event that your newborn requires additional support, Doctors Hospital is located directly next to HSA’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We ensure a safe, rapid transfer if needed, without delay.
