Having completed Dermatology Specialist Registrar training in Cambridge, I received my CCT in 2009 and held a substantive post as a Consultant Dermatologist at West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from August 2009 until February 2017. This position enabled me to use and further develop my skills and enthusiasm for general dermatology and surgery, undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. I was also Lead for the multidisciplinary Vulval clinic and the Patch testing Contact dermatitis service, and at present, I continue with the role of Lead Vulval Dermatologist as a Honorary Consultant at West Suffolk Vulval Clinic since 2009. I have also set up a Vulval clinic at Hinchingbrooke Hospital since taking on a substantive Consultant Dermatologist post with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in December 2020.
