MedTalks: Breast Health – Tackling the Conversations We’re Not Having
Thursday, October 30th, 2025 | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM | Signal House, Cayman Enterprise City [off Fairbanks Rd.]
Breast health is a topic that affects everyone — yet so many important conversations remain unspoken. On Thursday, October 30th, Integra Healthcare and Doctors Hospital invite the community to an evening of open dialogue at MedTalks: Breast Health – Tackling the Conversations We’re Not Having.
This free event will bring together an expert panel for an honest and wide-ranging discussion about the emotional, physical, and social dimensions of breast health. From the unseen psychological toll of a diagnosis to the latest advances in breast surgery and recovery, the panel will explore how healthcare teams can work together to support patients more holistically — mind, body, and identity.
Moderated by Beverly Edgington of the Breast Cancer Foundation, the discussion will feature:
-
Dr. Stenette Davis, Psychiatrist and Master Hypnotherapist, Integra Healthcare
-
Katy Teasedale, Lactation Consultant, Integra Healthcare
-
Dr. Omar Felix, General Surgeon and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, Doctors Hospital
-
Dr. Lona Vyas, Consultant Urologist, Doctors Hospital
Together, they’ll tackle issues that often stay beneath the surface — from the stigma men face in breast health, to the impact of treatment on breastfeeding and fertility, to the emotional recovery that follows long after surgery ends.
The evening is designed not only to share medical insight, but to empower attendees with knowledge, encourage early detection, and foster a more compassionate community dialogue about breast health.
Guests will also enjoy a welcoming cocktail hour before and after the session — a chance to connect, share experiences, and be part of a conversation that matters.
Seating is limited, and registration is required.
Join us as we open up the conversations we’re not having — and discover how listening, learning, and working together can lead to better outcomes for everyone.
